Embossed Floor Graphic Cold Lamination Film with Liner is a pressure-sensitive PVC overlaminate designed to protect printed floor graphics while adding a textured surface. It is applied over compatible printed
media without heat using a cold laminator or suitable application equipment.
Jiu Mao Industrial Co., Ltd. has manufactured cold lamination film and large-format printing materials
in Taiwan since 1998. The current floor graphic overlaminate series is available in 1295 and 1550 mm widths for distributors, wholesalers, importers and printing material suppliers requiring standard, OEM or private-label
products.
What Is Floor Graphic Lamination Film?
Floor graphic lamination film is a transparent or translucent protective overlaminate
applied over a printed floor graphic. It helps protect the printed surface from abrasion, scratches, moisture and damage caused by handling or foot traffic.
Unlike standard glossy or matte cold lamination films used primarily
for visual finishing, this product uses a thicker 180 µm PVC construction and an embossed textured surface for floor graphic applications.
The final performance of a floor graphic depends on the complete system, including
the printable base media, ink, curing, overlaminate, adhesive compatibility, floor surface, installation method and environmental conditions.
Key Benefits of Embossed Floor
Graphic Overlaminate
- Textured surface: The embossed finish is designed to provide additional surface texture for floor graphic applications.
- Thicker protective layer: The 180 µm PVC construction provides a firmer material body than Jiu Mao's standard 80 µm finish-based lamination films.
- Abrasion protection:
Helps protect the printed image from scratches, moisture and surface wear.
- Heat-free application: Uses pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive and can be applied without thermal lamination equipment.
- Wide-format production: Available in 1295 and 1550 mm widths for different commercial floor graphic dimensions.
- Commercial graphic applications: Suitable for promotional, directional,
event and exhibition floor graphics.
Available Floor Graphic Lamination Film Sizes
Both current products use the same 180 µm
embossed PVC film, acrylic adhesive, double PE-coated release liner and 40 m roll length. The main differences are roll width, product weight and packaging size.
Both listed products have a published shelf life of 12 months
under recommended storage conditions and are manufactured in Taiwan.

moisture and traffic conditions
Slip-Resistance & Floor Safety Requirements
The embossed surface is designed to
provide texture for floor graphic applications. However, a textured surface alone should not be treated as proof that the complete floor graphic system meets every anti-slip or floor-safety requirement.
For projects requiring
a formal slip-resistance classification, buyers should confirm:
- The required local or international test standard
- Whether testing is performed under dry, wet or contaminated conditions
- The
tested printable base film and adhesive system
- The floor substrate and installation method
- The required coefficient of friction or classification
- Whether the report applies to the complete installed floor graphic system
The final safety and suitability of the installed graphic may depend on the printable media, overlaminate, floor material, installation quality, cleaning method, moisture and traffic conditions.
Compatible Printed Graphics
This product is an overlaminate applied over printed floor graphic media; it is not intended to be used as a directly printable substrate. The current
product information lists compatibility with solvent, eco-solvent and UV ink systems.
A more precise purchasing specification is to state that the film is suitable for protecting compatible media printed with solvent, eco-solvent
or UV-curable inks, subject to proper print curing, outgassing, adhesion and complete-system testing.
How to Choose the Correct Roll Width
- Measure the printed floor graphic width and include the required trimming allowance.
- Select a lamination roll wide enough to cover the complete printed graphic without leaving unprotected edges.
- Use
1295 mm for common wide-format floor graphics and 1550 mm for larger commercial floor applications.
- Confirm the maximum working width and roll-weight capacity of the cold laminator.
- Review the individual product page for exact product weight
and packaging dimensions.
Cold Lamination & Installation Notes
- Allow the printed media
to dry, cure or outgas according to the printer, ink and media supplier recommendations.
- Test adhesion between the overlaminate and actual printed floor graphic media before full production.
- Ensure the printed surface is clean, dry and free
from dust before lamination.
- Apply consistent pressure using a suitable cold laminator.
- Confirm that the complete laminated floor graphic is compatible with the intended floor surface.
- Install only on a clean, dry and structurally stable
floor.
- Test edge adhesion, removability and cleaning performance before large-scale installation.
- Outdoor use should be confirmed separately according to weather exposure, moisture and project duration.
Floor Graphic Film vs Standard Cold Lamination Film
Standard glossy, matte and semi-matte cold lamination films are primarily selected to control the visual finish and provide
general protection for signs, posters and display graphics.
Choose this embossed floor graphic overlaminate when the printed graphic will be installed on a floor and requires a thicker, textured protective surface. For standard
non-floor graphics, explore Glossy, Matte & Semi-Matte Cold Lamination Films.
OEM & Private-Label
Floor Graphic Lamination Film
Jiu Mao provides OEM and private-label manufacturing support for distributors, wholesalers, importers and printing material suppliers. Custom roll dimensions, product specifications, packaging
and labeling can be discussed according to technical feasibility and purchasing volume.
Buyers requiring slip-resistance testing, REACH, RoHS, California Proposition 65 or other market-specific documentation should provide
the selected product, destination market and required test standard during the quotation process.
